Started as a group of friends, Jesse Rutherford (vocals), Jeremy Freedman (guitar), Zach Abels (guitar), Mikey Margott (bass) and Brandon Fried (drums) formed The Neighbourhood in 2011. Their debut album, “I Love You.,” was released in 2013, with their single “Sweater Weather” hitting a double-platinum that catapulted the band’s popularity to the top of Pop and Alternative charts.
Their success did not stop there, as their mixtape #000000 and #FFFFF showed a different colour to this rock band. The mixtape was hosted by hip-hop heroes such as Don Cannon and DJ Drama, featuring other artists such as French Montana and YG. "Wiped Out", their second album showcased their creation of an R&B-infused rock collection, that proved the world they have the talent to be a distinct rock band in the era of modern music.
